Hello all,
I am wanting to apply to UTHEALTH for Summer 2020 and fall 2019. I will be coming from out of state. This semester I am taking Stats and texas government and taking the HESI. In the Spring, I will take Mirco lab. I will have about a 3.2-3.3 overall GPA by the time I apply. Has anyone gotten accepted with this GPA before?

My HESI ID started with a letter and the rest were numbers. (edit bc I forgot to add) So the UT school ID and HESI are different and if you're applying for thr first time you wouldn't have a UT ID before the app.
Got it, thank you both so much! ?

You will register to take the HESI under UTs school code, Elveiser will then send your scores electronically to UT at the end of the month that you take the test in. When you apply you will have a To-do list that includes the HESI, once UT receives your scores it will be checked off your todo list
Is anyone putting volunteer work on their app (hospital and clinic settings)? There isn't really a specific section for it, and it doesn't seem right to put it under the "employment/military" section. I thought I've seen people say they include it on their app but if that's the case, where would it go? Or is it best to leave it out altogether? ?

From what I was told UT doesn't take volunteer experience into consideration which is why there isn't a section for it on the application. The only school I applied to that had a section for it and took it into consideration was UH.

No I dont believe you have to resend your transcripts/HESI scores. They should already have all of that on file..someone please correct me if I'm wrong though

Good luck! I did my hesi yesterday, which was the last thing i needed to do.
Does anyone know if it matters that I orginally first took the HESI exam at LSC and then at a testing center using UTHSC code? I know that when you take it, you have to register for version 1. But wouldnt the one I took at LSC count as version 1? I'm pretty sure they were the same tests.
