UTHealth Houston FNP Fall 2021

Hey guys, I have not seen a thread for the Fall 2021 FNP program for UT Health Houston so I thought I would start one. I had my interview on May 5th. I still have not received an email regarding my admissions or anything, but I did follow up with someone a week after and she said I should be getting it soon so fingers crossed. Has anyone else heard anything or interviewed?

I got my acceptance yesterday too! I’m so excited. I interviewed May 11th. The interview was very quick and low stress. They didn’t ask any funky questions. I have about a year and a half of experience. 1 year in the float pool and almost 6 months in the ICU. Not exactly sure what my GPA was, but it was somewhere over a 3.9 but not a 4.0. Just in case anyone looking on here is wondering!

@L.Jey So I called them on Wednesday, and finally got them to calculate my final GPA and so I believe that I will be sent to committee for review soon (fingers crossed). I am going to check back next week to see if there has been any progress. 

What was the interview like? What kind of questions did they ask?

@Maria MandhaiThe interview process was super chill. Mine was like 15 minutes. Fingers crossed you hear something soon.

Hi everyone I just wanted to clarify, is this forum for BSN-DNP FNP track? I was wondering how long each of you waited to hear about acceptance after your interviews?
