UTH Cizik School of Nursing BSN Pacesetter- Spring 2020

I thought I'd start this feed now. I applied in January. I know I'm early but I'm not much of a procrastinator. I just retook my Hesi and got a 89.2.. I feel I need to take it over but, some people are saying they don't even know UT's selection process. Can anyone enlighten me on that?

I haven’t been taken off the waitlist yet. I just wanted to see because last year, it looks like they sent the denied emails on 11/07! From what I understood, they had 10 days to accept or decline.

I was accepted off of the waiting list this Tuesday! If you’re still on the waiting list stay hopeful!!

I haven't gotten anything from the UTHEALTH until now? Is that mean that I got denied?
My HESI score is 94.8 and my GPA is over 3.5.

I can't believe I got denied!

Anyway, Congrats on those who got in!

Hello everyone!

I applied to UTHealth for Fall 2019 and got denied then applied again for Spring 2020 but I still have not heard back from them. One thing I know for sure is that they send out acceptances/waitlists first before sending out letters to those who are denied. So I guess I got denied then ?

Not sure anyone has gotten an official denial, something is definitely off with this round. Usually they send out denials 2 weeks after acceptance, here we are coming up on a month soon ?

I've seen alot of people denying their acceptances though this time around, so maybe don't lose faith yet? I haven't heard back yet but I won't be attending UT!

It is because they wrote my letter of denial for Fall 2019 on June 7th and I received it June 14th, the day before the announcement (June 15th) but today is Nov 14th so I should be getting a letter from them. I still haven't.

And congrats on getting to another school! I pray that everyone who got denied by UTHealth gets into another school they applied to for Spring 2020.

So today is Nov 15, the day we're supposed to find out... no email yet.

I got into TWU, which I'm not taking for granted (and will almost certainly be attending). But at this point I am going to be halfway through school before UTH gets around to telling the rest of us, lol ??

Theeeeere it is. Application denied. I'd have preferred to find out via a formal email, but now I have my answer. I'll probably be emailed around the day I start my first job as an RN. ?
