UTH Cizik School of Nursing BSN Pacesetter- Spring 2020

I thought I'd start this feed now. I applied in January. I know I'm early but I'm not much of a procrastinator. I just retook my Hesi and got a 89.2.. I feel I need to take it over but, some people are saying they don't even know UT's selection process. Can anyone enlighten me on that?

@BlondeBSNHopeful I saw that you got into Twu! Congrats, I’m so happy for you! I’ve been on these forums for 2 app rounds. I’ve been seeing you on them as well! Been denied 3/5 schools so far ? hopefully I’ll get in one of them for the spring semester. I still have some hope left lol. I’m going to try to retake the TEAS and hopefully that will increase my odds.

I did thank you! I hated that TWU wanted you to have allll of the nursing core prereqs done before you could apply otherwise I would have applied sooner for the fall! If you need any TEAS study guides send me a DM I have two that helped me alot!

Hi everyone congratulations to everyone that made it!! If you didn't make it or was wait listed don't give up!!! I was actually wait listed and accepted on my second try so there is hope for everyone. Just a reminder that I am still looking for a new roommate for the new year!! Please let me know if you're interested. I live in Daphne Apartments 2 bed 2 bath right in front of a UTH shuttle (so free rides to school!)

You were waitlisted and then you got accepted? Or waitlisted and had to apply again? I was waitlisted for Spring 2020 so a little bummed but I’m hopeful there will be a spot that opens up!

Congrats to those that got in and good luck to those who haven't yet. Watching this all unfold the process seems pretty stressful.

Does anyone know how many people are waitlisted and how many are generally are accepted from those waitlisted. I know the amount varies but just a ballpark number I also saw on the 2019 thread that most of those waitlisted were notified in mid December
