Just wanted to start a forum to see if there are any other nursing student applicants for the Fall semester? I just applied, although, I know I will not get a response until beginning of April. I was so excited since I just finished my HESI. I had to retake it since I did not take Vocab. the first time I took it? . Anyways, I really pray I get in for August so I can get started and not need to take any additional classes for other schools. My friend got in for Spring 2019 and she is loving it. I have really been fighting to get here for a VERY LONG TIME

I did for Fall but was denied! I waited till the lsst day to do my TEAS and didn't do well. Was going to reapply for spring but I honestly don't think I could make the commute to Galveston work for me
Thank you @Genet Eyasu !! And oooo ok. I wish I has known more about their deadlines so I could have tried for fall. The commute to Galveston will be tough for me too if I were to get in because it’s about an hour and a half from me. But I feel like I don’t know where else offers accelerated programs besides them and UTH. I might have to broaden my horizons a bit more. Where else did you apply?
I will only be applying to UTH for fall since I got the denial from UTMB. Spring is when I'm putting in the most apps if I don't get accepted to UTH for fall. I'll be applying to:
@BlondeBSN yea I am also only applying to UTH for fall but I’ll be applying to UTMB, UTH, and maybe TWU for spring. I gotta look and see if there are any other I can look into for spring. I just want to get into somewhere and start school at this point lol. @Genet Eyasu after I saw you guys talking about HBU I looked into it but I think I saw I would need to take some extra classes. Congratulations on your acceptance!!
Just wanted to say good luck to everyone applying! I applied to UTMB as well for the fall and got denied. For those that are going to keep their options open for UH (traditional BSN program opening in Katy), they are only accepting UH students who have taken a bulk of their pre-reqs at UH. I am not an UH student but I went to an information session a few weeks ago thinking that I could apply to become a UH student then just apply to their nursing program (like most schools). But, I took almost all of my pre-reqs at HCC, so I was disqualified from applying. This may change in the future though. Keeping my fingers crossed for UTH ?

I wasn't aware they only wanted people who did most of their classes in UH. Good to know! I will be applying to UTH, TWU, Wharton Sugarland, if not accepted for Fall. I am PRAYING for acceptance, I really just want to start already.
