lets hope soooo!!! ha ha if they dont come mon, then we will be hoping for tues and so on lol! I get so nervous everytime I open my mail box. Not to mention my mail lady isnt the best she always gets our mail mixed up on my street so please post if you guys get your letters! Thanks :)

Hey guys it looks like we won't be hearing from UTA anytime soon. I just checked out my intro to nursing blog and this is what Justin said

I’m sure many of you have heard rumors about when acceptance letters are going to be going out. Letters will not be going out till the end of October. I know this is shocking to many since we have decided to not have interviews. I’m also sure that many of you have heard differently from your advisor. Yesterday we were informed that the Admissions Committee could not meet until the end of October. Acceptance letters can’t be sent till they have met. We were hoping to get the committee together sooner since no interviews were going to be completed, however it did not work out that way.

So, what this means is that if you are waiting to hear from the School of Nursing you can hold off on stalking your mail man till the end of October.

This is annoying I was really hoping for this week to get the letter!

ughh seriously, a whole nother month!! uta is really starting to get on my nerves. it makes it even worse because we cant do anything as students but sit and wait.

that's ridiculous! I'm mad now. Basically, they have already made their decisions, but they have to wait on the committee??

yea thats what i was thinking goopsy. from the way justin worded his message it seems that they have already decided everything but hav to wait on the committee to have a meeting before they send out letters. i wonder what the meeting is for?

the meeting is probably to double check that everything was done right by the advisors and that no discrimination or preferance was given to a certain student. I'm sure if the advisors did something wrong, the first people to take the heat would be the admissions committee. How are you guys holding up? I'm hoping and praying that in 3 weeks we know!!!!!!!! Has anyone heard any news whatsoever?

Hey guys! Its taking foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! lol My friend told me that my pharm teacher Ms. Michals is on the committee & that the committee was not going to meet until the 22nd! So Im assuming the letters will go out that weekend! The wait is killing me! My birthday is @ the end of Oct so lets hope I have a fabulous birthday ha ha :)

really? THE 22ND IS ONLY TWO WEEKS AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!! I could jump up and down I'm so excited! :yelclap: Thanks for sharing the date misspink! I'm thinking the letters go out that friday or saturday. I say saturday because (even though they don't work that day) my advisor told me that they have been working extreme overtime. I, too, am hoping that you have the best birthday ever with an acceptance letter to show everyone!
