Is anyone else applying this June for the Spring 2021 Cohort, either the AO BSN or the BSN?
I'm currently taking CHEM 1451 and STAT 1308. If I pass these classes all I have left are Path and Pharm. I received a B for Microbiology, so I will be retaking that I think, and most likely CHEM & STAT. I received a C for the HIST 1312 US History since 1865, I took it at UTA, if I retake it at my local community college can I ask to replace the grade? Additionally, does anyone know if an Associate's in Science counts as a previous degree?
Don't forget!
Application deadline is June 1st!

Hi, what is your score if you don’t mind my asking? Trying to figure out what a realistic standard is.
I'm in! ? 7.614, Patho/pharm completion consideration, and alternate fall 2020 preference.
I am praying for you waitlist folks bc I KNOW the emotions, pain and mental anguish you are going through. My 2020, hindsight, takeaway would be to have a backup plan especially in this current climate. They took so few waitlist folks last cohort bc hospitals shut their doors to students. No one knows how the Spring will go for clinicals and that is what spots truly hinge on. Have your immunizations, BLS, and Blue card ready if they do call you up. ❤️

I would email the advising team to ensure it’s indeed that. I thought my point average was higher until I verified with them. They explained where I miscalculated. If you already verified with them, I would still email them to bring it to their attention.
So are all of us wait listed that don't get in as opposed to declined/then waitlisted/possible alternate/accepted? I have only been with UTA since last July, but I have not felt they were transparent in the selection portion of the process at all. I interpreted it as we are all waitlisted and we sign the form for it and potentially get called as an alternate. Am I wrong ? LOL also, do we have to have the BLS now? or is that something we do if/when we are called?

It did. I questioned it at first, and they emailed me back a thorough explanation that made sense. So I accepted that I was wrong and it was much lower than what I thought. They also replied with helpful tips and a plan for the next cycle.

It’s good to have it now, but when I emailed the advising team about it, they said to wait until acceptance. However, I feel better now than later. Especially with the pandemic and so many places closed or doing by Appt only.
