Congrats!! How do you know if you'll graduate with Latin honors? Do they notify you?
Actually, if you've only taken nursing courses at UT Arlington, you won't qualify for Honors. You have to have at least 45 credit hours at the school, which is pretty lame. So I don't know if the original poster of this thread is aware of that.
Yes I'm aware of that I am phi theta kappa from my first school RN school 3.9 gpa, and cum Laude 3.5 gpa from UTA including my gen ed classes, at least it's what I have been informed! Which I really don't care once I am already in a honors society....Actually, if you've only taken nursing courses at UT Arlington, you won't qualify for Honors. Say helo to MSN online at UTA starting this month!!!!
Hello all. Interesting thread. Congrats 9livesRN on receiving honors. I've looked at other posts, but I have to say by far this program is not easy. I've had many sleepless nights so far trying to complete due assignments as Im a procrastinator. What I will say though is that I wished I had known about this program at its inception in 2008. Ive had many coworkers attempt to demean the fact that I'm completing an online degree. However, I know this is education of the future. I will never sit in another classroom again. I too anticipate passing with honors.
Congratulations! I'm expecting to graduate by May.I wonder if UTA RN-BSN online students are eligible for Sigma Theta Tau.
Hi, online students are definitely eligible for Sigma Theta Tau. I was invited to join and registered yesterday. We are also invited to attend the induction ceremony, but since I am in California I won't make it. This has been a lot of work, but I also think online is the way to go. I do not think class time is needed for the RN TO BSN program.

Hey when do you plan on graduating? What GPA do you need to be invited? I have a 3.4.

I just graduated, and loved the university! Very friendly staff and instructors, doable course work while working full time, however it takes a whole lot of dedication! I would recommend this school to anyone! Graduated Cum Laude, working Full time and a half!
