UTA RN to BSN is awesome

I just graduated, and loved the university! Very friendly staff and instructors, doable course work while working full time, however it takes a whole lot of dedication! I would recommend this school to anyone! Graduated Cum Laude, working Full time and a half!

Hey when do you plan on graduating? What GPA do you need to be invited? I have a 3.4.

It's not so much the GPA, as it is being in a certain percentile of your class (I think it's top 1/3rd), and have a certain number of nursing credits completed.

I actually was not told the requirements to get in, so this was interesting to read. I am finishing Capstone and co-op next week. I am so excited to be almost done! So far I have a 4.0. Fingers crossed that stays the same next week!

I got the criteria from the Sigma Theta Tau website...and if anyone knows what an applicant needs to get in, it's them :)

I know the feeling, I'm crossing my fingers that I'm keeping my current GPA as well. Good luck!

Hey 9 lives!

I just finished an ADN program and I am considering UTA for RN to BSN. I see that you had a great experience with them and was hoping to ask you a few questions. I tried to do some research through their website, but most of it read more like a sales pitch. I need to complete several of the general education courses and wanted your opinion as far as whether I should do them through UTA or trying to do them locally and hoping they transfer? Also, I do not have any experience with online coursework, how are the classes conducted? how are tests proctored? Full of questions..thank you in advance for your time.

There are no clinicals. Everything is online.
