Did anyone in the RN to BSN academic partnership take an upper division nursing elective that was NOT NURS 4300? I took NURS 3309 (medical terminology as my general elective). I see NURS 4300 has a prerequisite of NURS 3300, but I don't want to take another class just to take NURS 4300. Do you know if we are allowed to take another 4000 level class besides NURS 4300?

I CLEP'd it with my CCRN. National certification can be used to CLEP the nursing elective.

You can take N3352 Legacy of the Family for the Upper Division nursing elective. It is the only one that will satisfy the requirement other than N3300 or NURS4300. This is what I was told by my academic advisor and I just finished that class last week. :)

I am also going to take Medical Terminology as an elective. My CNOR satisfied the other. Did you need a book for this class or just the online access codes?

You only have to take two electives. SaharaRN33, your legacy of the family and N3300 will be all you have to take for electives. You will not have to take N4300.
OP, N3300 is a breeze. You keep a work log, make some goals, and write a paper.
The electives you can choose from are Medical Terminology, Legacy of the Family, N3300, or N4300. You are required to complete 2. If you have a certification, you can use it in place of one elective.
