This thread is for anyone taking Holistic health assessment on-line at UTA starting Jan 14th 2013. Hopefully we can get a good thread going in order to provide support for each other as we go. The more students who participate, the better it will be for everyone.
Did yall describe to toe nails also or just the cap refill?
i did. just copied and pasted from the finger-nail paragraph but changed the word, "fingers" to "toes"
i debated whether or not to include toes, but since it was easy to copy/paste, i did it. have no idea if this is overkill, but i'd rather not get points taken off for excluding things they might want.
I ran out of time on the first one, finished, but was sweating it! I need to take the test still and do the dq. O the holistic care if the older adult class, most of the test comes from the lectures notes, I don't think that is the case in this class! Not too good on week 2 quiz. Wasn't hard, guess I just need to look over material a little slower and take my time. Oh well, did well on 1st quiz.
Ok, i officially hate this class. my husband is going out of town for work so i had to cram a lot of things in this week. did week 3 stuff on sat and week 4 on mon....but writing it all up is taking a long long long long time. not anywhere near completion, but at least i have the inspections, palpations, auscultations, and percussions done. but, it is the writing portion that is the killer. have to work fri, sat, and sun, so can't use those days for much.
i've done nothing but class work every day this week. woke up in the middle of the night w/ pain in my right arm, at the elbow, due to remaining in the typing position for too many hours, i think. i could write a coldspa for myself for current onset of pain.
thanks everyone for contributing to this forum. i check in frequently. helps to know there are others who are going through the same thing as i am.

Hi Neonursej
glad you found the tips useful. i'm trying to pass on anything i learned from others who previously took this class, so i can't take credit for this.
later.
