Hey all, I thought I would set up a place to discuss the next application period for UTA's Fall 2012 nursing program. There was so much info in the Spring 2012 forum, thought it might be helpful to start a new thread...

Well...another one bites the dust...My first reject from UTA Fall 2012...Bummer....GPA Science 3.5 (I guess need to redo), GPA overall 3.7...Cannot concentrate on my studies...Exam on Monday...Lord help me. Congrats to those that made it!

Well I didn't get in so Tech it is for me. Btw y'all waitlisters should be wayy happier cause I know people who got in that aren't going to UTA because they're going somewhere else so be happy & have hope.

At least you got wait listed and not rejected...Congratulations...I will be heading to the ADN program myself...Thank God for backups.

MeGreen...I guess those that got in are now celebrating quietly...Don't blame them...and really happy for them...I know how hard they've worked to reach the stars...I am trying:(

I got wait listed for the on campus program...how heavily are the considerations weighed? I thought my gpa would be enough

I wish they could at least tell us how likely it is that we will be called off the waitlist...waiting in limbo is a killer. I thought my GPA would be good enough also. I am very happy to be waitlisted but now just need to know what to decide and where to go from here.

I have a 4.0 for my sciences and a 3.86 overall

I am so shocked that so many of you 4.0 people were wait listed for the on campus program. You guys must be at the top of the list for sure!

I sure am hoping so!! Do you know around how many spots open up each semester for those wait listed? I know it fluctuates, but have you heard an estimate?
