Hey all, I thought I would set up a place to discuss the next application period for UTA's Fall 2012 nursing program. There was so much info in the Spring 2012 forum, thought it might be helpful to start a new thread...

@MEGREEN is it under FA Future enrollment? I got an email a while back saying that we needed to input our own projected hours for summer/fall/spring here. Thay would be so awesome if the FA office was leaving "clues" to acceptance though, lol. :)
And for anyone curious about the promise grant, I called FA yesterday and they said that if you qualify you should see updated grant information on myMav in the next few weeks when they start disbursing the funds.
Cluman,
Yes that is exactly what i am talking about! Do you have to apply for the Promise Grant? What are the qualifications?? I doubt the 14 means anything! I wish it did though!
I also got that email but I never put in my hours as 14. I just put that I would be full time for all of the semesters. Since I was not sure what I was going to be taking...
Got accepted to TCU nursing today. I am hoping we find out soon with UTA!

No doubt I would pick UTA! I think going to TCU would be wonderful, and I am very grateful to be accepted, but the cost is insane. I am so hoping for the AP BSN at UTA! I am a little confused how I was accepted to be honest with you. I took the HESI through UTA, which does not require anatomy and physiology, but TCU does require that section to be taken. I haven't taken it again, so I am a little confused how that worked out. I am guessing they would require me to take it before starting classes if I decided to go there? I was still very excited to receive a letter like that! lol!

Congrats!!!! Such a great program! And who cares why or how, that is awesome! :) I didnt apply there because of the cost! TCU is one of the only schools I know of that, when you declare nursing as your major, you automatically get "accepted" to clinicals your junior year. I wish every school was like that! In my opinion, if you have good grades and work hard, you shouldn't be kept from graduating!

Hey guys, I have been following this forum for awhile now and decided to finally join the conversation since I had some good news to share with you guys! At the NCC meeting, the assistant dean (Jean Ashwill, I believe was her name) informed us that the ranking was done last week and were sent to the IT, therefore, we should receive the acceptance/rejection letters sometime this week via email!!! Good luck to everyone :yelclap:!
Omg! That is crazy!!!!! I so hope it's going to happen soon!!! What is NCC? :) Good luck everyone!
Good luck to everyone!!! They have never once done anything on time so I am keeping my fingers crossed that this time they do :) I am checking my email like crazy from this point forward!
