Hey all, I thought I would set up a place to discuss the next application period for UTA's Fall 2012 nursing program. There was so much info in the Spring 2012 forum, thought it might be helpful to start a new thread...

It ends up being little less than 15 months when you take out the few breaks you get. You do have to go in the summer. The only breaks you get are for thanksgiving and christmas if I am not mistaken...

I received an email today from TCU that they have made decisions and will be sending out an email this next week. I wish UTA was that fast! I am getting so nervous!

I never heard back from THR regarding the position I interviewed for. I would have hoped to hear back something by now, at least saying I didn't get it, but oh well. I have an appt. to go in for the PCA and spelling test for Parkland tomorrow morning, hoping that goes well and a job is in my near future. I am pretty sure that getting employed with a partner hospital at this point would be considered too late for Fall, but we will see.

Has anyone taken the PCA math test at Parkland? Any suggestions for what to study for tonight? What is on the test?

I just checked my application status with THR and it still says "interviewing" so maybe it takes awhile to hear back? It has been almost 2 weeks.

I took my pharm final! It really wasn't bad. Lots of stufgf over Asthma meds and amphitryon b. Probably 5 or 6 questions over each of those topics alone! There where several( at least 13 questions) that I recognized from previous exams! I couldn't sleep lastnight thinking about it so I woke up at 2am and took it! :idea: I hope that wasn't a bad choice! I guess I will knwo my grade soemtime next week. Hope the little info I provided might help someone out! Has anybody heard anything else about when we find out!? I am thinking about calling and bugging!

That's awesome! Definitely not the final we had last Fall :) I'm sure you did great and they will post your grade on Epic about 24 hours after the last day of class. I hoping I get to meet you one of these days at work! Next week I work Wed and Thurs. What about you?

Lucky for me then! I was so worried about that stupid exam! I hope I do well enough to keep my "B".

I might be here on Wed if they call me in bt I will for sure be here on Thursday. I don't come in until noon!

I was looking over my financial aid information and it has my spring hours listed as 14. Anyone elses say 14? I am asking becasue I didn't make them that and according to the statu.com website the spring nursing courses are 14 hours....I am probably just being a freak...but maybe it is set to that becasue they already know I got in!LOL:bugeyes: Does anyone have FA and theirs says the same thing or doesn't say the same thing??

I called last week and was told it would be by the last week of April...others have heard diff...Did you get the email awhile back that said we should know by the end of April?
