A friend of mine transferred there from Pennsylvania and got in with 3.8 gpa; they said they had no problem getting in. I've heard nothing but good things about UTA.

Hi I am also going to go to UTA however I am not going until next fall. I am in Maryland now and have to get my LPN first so that I can work when I get there. I have heard great things about UTA and am very excited about it. Are you going to live on campus or not, I am undecided but hope to be in Texas by July to get ready for the fall. What made you decide to go there?

UTA is one of the best schools in Texas. I dont go there (I go to Tarleton State) but they seem very organized. My husband goes there but he is in engineering. Good luck to you and welcome to Texas!!!!

I'm at UTA finishing my pre-reqs and I love it so far! Pharm and Patho start for me this week, so I'll let you know what I think about those classes. I'm hoping to start next spring.
Everyone that I've met on faculty so far has been really nice and willing to help you. I took Concepts of Professional Nursing during the Maymester this year and it was one of the best classes I've ever taken!
Good luck!

hi everyone,
I was wondering for those who were accepted into the program, did u complete the 3 required pre- nursing courses (Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, & Intro. to Nursing) before starting the first official semester of the Nursing Program at UTA? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
