So I'm trying to see anyone is going to apply for UTA's AP BSN program the fall of 2017. I have been following threads and trying to get some information about how this program is set up. I did my application to the school last year for the Fall of this year. I'm trying to knock out my science classes, but I have withdrawal from my biology class 4 times and Im wanting to take my chemistry over the summer. Possibly doing my other 2 sciences with UTA. I haven't taken the Hesi A2, I plan to take that around the Fall. So, I just like us to update with each other and encourage each other to get into the program. I would do my stats, but I haven't taken gotten them yet. As soon as Im finished, I will post them. Everyone is free to post theirs
Hello! I also plan on applying for the AP Online BSN for 2017! I've got a week to go with A&P2, taking Micro over the summer & Chem in the fall! I also wish I could have started in the spring, but single mom of 3, going to school full time & I work full time as a medical assistant! Sometimes I want to scream, but I know the pay off is going to be worth it! Wish the best of luck to you ladies!
Hello everyone!
So unfortunately I will not be attending UTA's AP BSN program due to a grade that I received some semesters ago. I was denied to start in the Fall of 2017. My grade will expire in 2019, which is a 3 year setback for me. I am going to retake the class and pass it but I will not be attending UTA which I am very upset about, because this was the school I wanted to get in.
I want to know if anyone knew any AP BSN programs in Texas that I could possibly apply to. I live in Dallas, TX.
Thank you all for your encouragement to each other and I wish yall the best of luck!
Don't let that stop you. I was denied my first time applying and now I'm waitlisted. I keep a positive mind. You are also allowed to replace the grade. If your heart is set on it, don't give up.
With that being said, there are a few other programs out there. Do you hold a Bachelor's degree in another subject?

That is a positive mindset to look at it. I ask my advisor was it possible to retake the class, pass and reapply. She told me that I could do that, but I would still have to wait until 2019 to reapply. Another option she told me was to go for my ADN and then apply for their RN to BSN, which I think I'm going to go for.
This is my first degree. So for the past 4 years, I've working my butt off, with a full time job to try to get my Bachelor's but I guess God has another path for me.
I wish you good luck with the program, you get in. Hopefully you will not have to wait too long.
Hello everyone, I plan to apply to UTHSC, TWU, UTA, Lone Star, and HCC after I finish my pre-reqs this fall. I attempted to take the Hesi and Teas test but did not score as high as I wanted to. I plan on retaking both exams eventually before applying to the programs. I have attended three colleges throughout my college career and do not have the best GPA at two of them. The school I am currently attending my stats are as follows:
Overall GPA: 2.5
Pre-Req GPA: 3.5
Science GPA: 4.0
