Uta ap bsn - fall 2014

I just wanted to start a new thread for all of the applicants for Fall 2014.

I applied to the online and on-campus, but would really prefer online.

I'm not partnered though, so I have that against me.

My stats:

3.6 overall

4.0 science

2 considerations: 30 hrs @ UTA & previous bachelors

This will be a career change for me.

Good luck to everyone who applied!

Thanks for starting the thread...I only applied for the online as this will be a career change for me as well. I am also not partnered so that is a strike against me, but this is what my situation warranted.

My stats are:

3.5 Overall

4.0 Science

96 HESI

2 Considerations: 12 science hours at UTA and a prior degree.

Good luck to you as well!

I am applying to a different program for fall but am considering UTA for spring if my plan for fall does not happen. Would I be nuts for taking AP 1 and 2 again at UTA for the consideration points? I got A's in both at TCC but need any and all considerations that I can get!

@joshsmother

I would be careful about retaking courses as UTA CON only allows a max. of 4 courses that you can retake, I believe. I would save those for grade improvements. If you don't need to do any grade improvements, you COULD consider it, but that sounds like a hassle.

Additionally, if you work for a partner hospital, that would get you the highest points in their eyes, probably almost a guaranteed acceptance. And it doesn't have to be full time.

No longer partnered. It is so hard to get in to the AP program with no considerations!

Applied for online as well. Not partnered, have another BA. Not sure of my gpa's. I hope we find out soon! I'm thinking May they might let us know?

Does anyone know what hospitals ARE partnered??? Why is this so hard to figure out???

They were listed on the application.

They were listed on the application.[/QUOT

I have not applied. I am assuming the application is online.

Yes it's online. Sorry I do not remember. All I know is that I do not work in a partnered facility. Hoping my other " points" help me.

They should let us know in April. Decisions were made in April for Fall 2013 and on the academic partnerships website, it says "Admittance Decision by 4/21/14". I'm ready to know. I'm starting to lose sleep at night.

yay I can't wait!! I am praying I get in the first time... I can't handle a wait list!

Hi everyone! I applied to both UTA programs. Is anyone else out there wishing we knew their decisions already? :)
