UT Tyler nursing spring

Am applying to UT tyler nursing program for spring 2015. Anyone else applying? Feel free to post comments.

I purchased the $800 package the only reason I purchased it and did not try to get the books seperatley is because the package comes with a SIM card that we need for clinicals. You can only get this SIM card through the purchase of the package they do not sell it seperatley

LW, did you get the box of books or buy separate? You're not alone. ...my nervous are shot, too!!!

I went ahead and bought the box. I wanted to make sure I have everything that I need... but yeah the cost is insane! Maybe, I will consider alternatives for the next semester.

But navynorange1234,

We do not have clinicals until the second semester starting in May so I do not understand why we would need the box exactly.

Okay well I'm in the traditional program and we start Clinicals during our first semester so if your in the traditional program it's necessary

Did you log on to blackboard.. pharm and comp is available but not health assessments.

When I went they didn't have the box so I just bought the books individually :(

I bought books individually, too. I guess we'll cross the Sim card obstacle when we get to clinicals!

Hopefully there will be another option for you guys! They told us (traditional students) that we HAD to buy one of the package options because of the Sim chart..

I am currently reviewing the syllabus for the three classes now. I am thinking maybe we should read the first chapters at least for day1?
