UT Tyler nursing spring

Am applying to UT tyler nursing program for spring 2015. Anyone else applying? Feel free to post comments.

how many points do yall have for the Accelerated BSN program?? worried i do not have enough :(

Do they even consider points for the Accelerated program? I went to the school and the adviser told me they dont consider points. It is only considered in the traditional program. Anyway, I had all A's in my prerequisites. And had 85 in the TEAS. What is your stats?

They told me they go off points but who knows. I made like an 83 and 84 on math and reading for teas test. I made all As on the nursing pre req. Not on my core classes tho. If it's not science, it's not for me

If UT Tyler does not use points for admission, then what do you think that they go by then? Why even have the TEAS or GPA part of a scoring system to begin with? This doesn't make any sense.

Hmmm... you might be right. I no longer see any mininimum TEAS scores listed and I don't even see the scoring card information in there anymore. I am pretty sure that they were listed before so I guess they removed them. I do know that they removed the requirements this year for the degree so it seems that they are attempting to increase enrollment. Still though, why even require us to take the TEAS if not factored into the admission consideration?

Idk. It seems like everyone is hearing different things. When I asked what my points were they told me so I'm guessing they use point system

Next time take your time to read my post. What I said was they don't go by points for the Accelerated program. However, with the traditional, they still go by points. I don't know which track you chose. I chose the Accelerated track and I went to Tyler to meet the adviser. She made it known that they do not use the point system for the Accelerated track.

The Accelerated is 20 months not the 16 months as claimed. Am I right?
