UT Tyler BSN Fall 2020

Hi everyone! I’m applying for the BSN program at UT Tyler for Fall 2020. I have seen only a few posts about this school and wanted to see if anyone was applying and what your stats were. Good luck!

I didn't get in but my GPA and TEAS were a lot higher I wonder how the point system works which Campus did you apply for CONGRATS by the way

aaah ? I honestly, I don't know how I got in. I think maybe the video. Also, I did not do patho which made me more scared that I did not get in :(. IT'S OKAY! You have Spring! You will get in Spring!

I got an 83 on the TEAS

3.4 Nursing GPA

3.5 pre-reqs GPA

I have a Bachelor's in Health from Texas A&M University

I'm currently taking patho at UT Tyler

I wonder if you can ask your advisor what your ranking is. I am so surprised I got in. I honestly was going to just ignore this application cycle

Wait so for those of you who have castlebranch for Summer, do I need to change to Fall 2020? I accidentally signed up for Summer

My stats are about the same, but I have taken patho in past Spring and got a B in it. I felt like my video was a bit weak and rushed. I still submitted everything and applied anyways to see if I do still get in or if not, maybe an extra point for reapplying? I didn’t get in, but that’s okay. I will reapply for the Spring. I am taking CNA classes right now and hopefully get a job in the next few months so I describe a bit of my experience and wanting to further my career as a nurse. I just need to improve my TEAS and do a better job in my video. I am also a transfer but did patho at UT Tyler so it’s more competitive to get in. Hopefully I get in the Spring. If not, Summer semester will have to be.

I got into Tyler! My nursing pre-req GPA was a 3.5, overrall GPA was a 3.3, and TEAS was an 85. Has anyone made/seen a facebook or groupme for fall 2020?

I got into tyler as well! were you able to register for orientation? the link won't work for me!

It didn’t work for me either! They’ll probably update it from the Summer semester soon hopefully
