UT Southwestern Dallas July 2020 Nurse Residency

Updated:   Published

Hi! Here's a new forum for everyone applying for the July 2020 Nurse Residency at UTSW. The application closes on Dec. 1st! I applied for the Women's services track!

Where else do ya'll plan on applying at in the Dallas area?

I applied for the OR department and for an email a few days ago. Nervous about the interview on what to take in for the panel and what they might ask. Anyone else apply for OR and heard back.

Has anyone heard from the Women's Services track?

I am not sure about any other tracks, I only applied for Critical Care.

From those of you who have been called to interview, do you have previous experience as an LVN/LPN? Do you know anyone who is interviewing that does?

@RoundAbout33 I applied for the Women's Track and have not heard anything back yet

I applied for the NICU and have not heard back either. I have a few interviews for other hospitals this week but of course, still trying to remain hopeful that I'm on some sort of alternate list. lol

Hi,

Wondering if anyone has a contact name or phone number for the JULY 2020 Nurse Residency program? I have an interview scheduled next week, but I was hoping to speak to someone over the phone regarding a scheduling issue. All I have is the email address. Thank you!!

I called HR when I had an issue and they gave me the e-mail address of someone connected to the program. They may be able to give you a phone number to call.

Thank you! I called and they told me that someone monitors that nursing residency email address daily, but if someone didn't get back to me they would find someone for me to talk to. I feel better now! ?

Does anyone know if they actually wait until ALL interviews are complete to give a yes/no or is it just by department? I had my interview for ICU on Monday (the very first day of interviews, no less) and I'm going to go crazy if I have to wait until they've interviewed for all units haha

I honestly have no idea. I really hope it is done by department. How was your interview?
