Anyone else applying?

I have three more prereq's to complete this summer (Texas Gvt, Chem II, Music Appreciation), but I'll have them done by early July, so I'll be good for the August 1 deadline.

My current stats:

Overall GPA: 3.72

Science/Math GPA: 3.68

TEAS VI: 82.7

I'm starting to get pretty nervous. I have SAC as a back up school, too. I'd rather not get an Associate's, but I will.

Jen, did you hear anything back from that email you sent about confirmation?

Nope. I did get an auto reply that responses will take a while because they are very busy. I'm guessing we're just not going to hear anything until they send out denial/acceptance letters.

I've told myself that we won't hear anything until the last week in August, so I'm less anxious now. I mean, I'm still a little anxious, but I'm managing it much better. I know there are a lot of changes going on over there, so I'm sure everyone is under a lot of strain.

I got this back just a bit ago:

Thank you for your email. We are currently reviewing applications and will contact students in the upcoming weeks if there is a problem. Thank you in advance for your patience.

So maybe we have a bit longer to wait than anticipated.

Oh wonderful... was September 2nd ever confirmed by the school, or is it just a rumor?

I'm guessing just a rumor. When I went to the info session in July, she said it usually takes about 6 weeks. Looking back on previous threads, it seemed like it took around 4 weeks, but the program director is leaving and I imagine there are a lot of changes going on there, which may delay the process.
