UT Health Science - San Antonio Spring 2018

Anyone else applying?

I have three more prereq's to complete this summer (Texas Gvt, Chem II, Music Appreciation), but I'll have them done by early July, so I'll be good for the August 1 deadline.

My current stats:

Overall GPA: 3.72

Science/Math GPA: 3.68

TEAS VI: 82.7

I'm starting to get pretty nervous. I have SAC as a back up school, too. I'd rather not get an Associate's, but I will.

no they do send us something.. I read on a previous cohorts Page. they will tell us by what date we should hear something &that we can be considered for acceptance. even if not the earliest people heard stuff is August 28 in the latest was around September 2 that is not long from now ... be positive and just believe that we all got in :)

ok im ready to FAST FORWARD to the 28TH or whatever day we are supposed to be accepted. im getting impatient... i want to buy my stethoscope and shoes and just feel relieved ooomg :( :)

I understand. I have a few fun things planned over the next few weeks, so hopefully it'll fly by. We're seeing Ed Sheeran on the 22nd, my husband's birthday is coming up and I'm doing planning for a cruise we're taking in November. I'm also spending more time volunteering at University, which helps. I just wish it wasn't so ridiculously hot - I'd be spending all my time at the Pearl.

i've taken up a new hobby.... trying to lose weight and fix my diet before we are stressing in nursing school. :X

How funny! I joined a gym a few weeks ago for the same purpose - I want to create good habits now, not try to later.

I'm happy I found this thread for spring 2018. I have been reading old threads from past years trying to see who got in based on their stats. I'm just anxiously waiting to hear something! My stats are: Cumulative GPA- 3.54, Math/Science GPA- 3.45, and TEAS- 87.3.

Welcome! Those are nice stats you've got there :)

I'm having dreams almost every night about nursing school. They are so silly too - like I had to participate in an obstacle course to be accepted, or I'm taking a test the first day of school. Last night I had one where I got into trouble for bringing coffee to class. My anxiety is so ridiculous!
