Was waiting for someone else to make this thread, but I'm too anxious!
I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.
Stats:
HESI Overall: 92.4
Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88
Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 3.41
My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!
I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).
We are probably denied. I don’t think more acceptance emails will come out. I am really sad. Did not even want to eat much today. I am depressed.
I’m not depressed yet because Fall results go out at the end of May which is not too far away. I’ll be sad after that if I don’t get in, but I will go to UTH one day - even if it means I have to do RN-BSN transition program.

I just checked it about 30 mins ago. Off and on all day, it said "under review". Maybe they think I have enough degrees lol. I lived in Germany, so I went to school to keep me busy (no US nursing program there). Now I'm back stateside & ready to get my RN. The 2 Associates were highly suggested for my job in the military. I'm super bummed out, but oh well.

Dang that was quick. You have great stats though, you should definitely reapply for Fall!
I would be too except it’s my second time waitlisted. I feel like I would be annoyed to be in this limbo of being waitlisted all the time
ahhh. well i hope something good comes out of this for you! this is my second time as well, except first time around i was just flat out denied. praying loads for everyone
So what we’ve learned so far is we know absolutely nothing about the acceptance process lol. 1) acceptances went in 2 waves [so far] 2) denials are scattered? and 3) who knows when waitlist notifications will be
