Was waiting for someone else to make this thread, but I'm too anxious!
I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.
Stats:
HESI Overall: 92.4
Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88
Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 3.41
My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!
I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).
So glad to say that I got accepted. Debating on if I should commute or find an apartment. I won't get much financial aid because of a previous degree, and although I live in Houston, I'm not sure if living home is the best idea, or if taking a loan out to live in apartment is better. Either way, glad that I'll be meeting most of you guys.

I personally decided to just stay home because the bus rides in the morning allow me time to wake up, study and review :) plus there’s a 50% student discount with Metro so it’s pretty sweet!
And awww of course!!! It’s been no problem at all!! I’ve loved getting to know you guys and interact!! I’m so excited to meet all of you and I’m so happy to get this ball ROLLIN!!!!
Hiiii guys I am sooo happy to see that acceptances have gone out and a huge congratulations to all that have made it!!!! I have yet to see if I have made it because me and my fiancé want to find out together but I am picking him up from work as we speak and hopefully I’ll know soon but either way, regardless of the result, I will be back to let you guys know. We have endured this process together and I find it only fair that you can all share in any emotions I may feel!! Lol when I saw you guys getting acceptances i felt so happy as if it had been me!! And to those who have not heard anything yet I echo the other encouraging comments that I have read. Do not give up. This is a small hurdle compared to all the things you have accomplished and I’m sure will continue to accomplish. Congrats to everyone!!

Someone else ended up making one as well but didn’t say anything until today to me about it unfortunately... I’m not sure how that’s goint to impact things but hopefully it doesn’t!!!
So everyone got their notifications at 2 and I got nothing so I thought I didn't get in. Cried and cried and cried the past few hours. Stayed off allnurses because I was so upset. But at 4:00 I GOT ACCEPTED VIA EMAIL!! I didn't see it until just now because I didn't want to get a rejection email. NOW I AM CRYING HAPPY TEARS
