Was waiting for someone else to make this thread, but I'm too anxious!
I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.
Stats:
HESI Overall: 92.4
Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88
Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 3.41
My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!
I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).
Yes, hit accept. Thats what I did. So a few weeks ago I called and asked them what would happen if I had yet to finish the prerequisites like in my case (sociology). The woman said I would be conditionally accepted and upon completion I would send in the final transcript with the course completed. I got so caught up in my emotions that I totally forgot. If anyone manages to speak to someone, please confirm this. I want to be totally sure.
Friday I am going for a tour on the campus so Ill ask once again. Ill let you know.

I have yet to make it but I’ve got the basics of it ready so that I could once y’all were accepted!!!! I’ll have to see if the person I spoke with about co-running it was accepted so that I can create it and start adding y’all in ASAP!
So a quick and HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to everyone!!!!! I’m so proud of everyone, accepted or not. You’re all incredible beings and I give each of you major props for all you’ve done to make it this far!!!
Those who were accepted: I’ll be making a class facebook page for us so don’t quit checking up here just yet!! I’ll be posting the name of the FB group by tonight as long as the person I spoke with gets back to me! ?
Anyone who’s currently unsure about acceptance, waitlisted or denied: I’m so SO proud of you. I know first hand the pain you’re feeling and I want you to know it’s perfectly okay to cry, be angry or whatever you may do to cope with this let down. Try again for Fall, apply elsewhere or go back to the basics and increase your scores - whatever you do just DON’T give up. You learn nothing from success and everything from failure, so take this as a crappy lesson and be ready for success next time ? if any of you need advice or have questions, don’t be afraid to contact me (my FB and IG accounts are linked on my account still!)

So glad to say that I got accepted. Debating on if I should commute or find an apartment. I won't get much financial aid because of a previous degree, and although I live in Houston, I'm not sure if living home is the best idea, or if taking a loan out to live in apartment is better. Either way, glad that I'll be meeting most of you guys.
