I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.
Stats:
HESI Overall: 92.4
Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88
Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 3.41
My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!
I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).
It'd be thrilled if they put the announcement in couple of hours or so

It's definitely doable but it depends on your job, the hours and your own abilities as a student. If you find a way to make it work then I give you ALL the props. I cut my hours from 40 a week to no more than 8 a MONTH once classes started.
I can't really tell based on the last forum. But do all acceptances go out on the same day? Or is it spread across multiple days? I really hope it is all on the same day
Yes they go out on the same day at the same time. Oct. 22nd was a Monday and the email went out at 12:32pm (crazy what you can remember!) but I didn't see it until that night because I was at work.
Acceptances go out first, then waitlist, then denials. I do hate to say it but if you haven't gotten the acceptance notice within 24 hours of everyone losing their minds, you probably go waitlisted or denied. I say within 24 hours just because sometimes technology is laggy and drives us crazy for no reason! ?
I'm leaving school for the day right now but I'll be checking up here every hour or so to see if there's been a status update! If it doesn't come by 5/5:30, the faculty will be gone for the day by then so you guys can commence to stressing into the weekend ? hopefully that's not the case because I'm SO excited to officially get the ball rolling with you guys ?

Didn't someone mention acceptance emails went out sometime after 5pm once? or did I make that up? I thought I read that somewhere.

Yeah, there was something about them going out not too long after business hours. I think they hit the button and then leave ASAP to avoid the flood of phone calls.
