Was waiting for someone else to make this thread, but I'm too anxious!
I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.
Stats:
HESI Overall: 92.4
Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88
Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 3.41
My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!
I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).
I hope they send them soon just in case there are any other classes I am missing so I can take them during a minimester in March. I would hate to think I have/am getting everything done only to find out I’m missing something. Also, I think I calculated my GPAs correctly but I’m not sure so it would be nice to see. But like BlondeBSN said, I’ll probably end up contacting them to see if they can send me one if I still haven’t received it by early February. ?

I hope I get a Transcript Eval as well because I am unsure of whether or not I calculated my GPA right. I also saw some concerning comments from past posts regarding GOVT 2305 and 2306 from Lone Star not transferring??
Oh wait, do people who are still taking classes get transcript evaluations? I'm taking my last 4 classes, and my To-Do list says initiated for one of my transcripts because its still technically in progress. But I'd still like to know my GPA that I applied with.

Yes, you should still receive one calculating the GPA of the classes you have taken. It'll just show that you have not taken those classes yet.
Yes I also heard the same thing and those are the courses I’m taking to fulfill those two requirements for UTH. However, I don’t see how they wouldn’t accept them since those are the exact course numbers they list on that transfer sheet on they’re website and Lonestar is one of the major Community Colleges so I can’t see them now accepting them. But some reassurance would be nice for sure.
Yeaut turned out the Stats class I took for my previous degree wasn't the one they wanted so I was able to last minute register for one at HCC.. If I hadn't gotten my evaluation I wouldn't have known! I'd send an email or call just to see if they're still working on sending them out.
Speaking of transcripts, I have two that were electronically sent on 1/14, but they still show as initiated on my application.. it's been 9 business days so I was going to wait til Tuesday to reach out, but wanted to see if anyone else's transcripts are taking awhile to be processed?
I actually have the opposite issue. I’m still currently taking classes and I have no transcripts pending but I had heard if you have classes in progress you should still have the transcript on your to do list. Maybe it’s because the two transcripts I sent them didn’t have any pending classes? But I did send them my transcript from Lonestar with the pending classes through email and still have nothing on my to do list which makes me feel like they haven’t even looked at my stuff. BlondeBSN do you have any classes in progress?
I do still have courses in progress, so maybe that is why they still show on my list? It's confusing though because I want to make sure they at least got them and they aren't lost lol
Yea that’s definitely understandable. I hope when you call they are able to give you the answers you are looking for. I know they may not pick up screening calls from all the people asking when the results are coming out lol.
