I haven't seen a topic for the UT Health Fall 2018 program, so here it is!
I am applying for the fall with following stats:
Prereq GPA 3.65
Science GPA 4.00
HESI (just took it last Friday):
Reading 90
Vocab 92
Grammar 84
Math 96
AP 100
I am making a career shift with a BS in Chemistry that I got from UH Downtown.
Good luck everyone!
Also also! I would like to share after lurking in many years of UT Health's prospective student forums...I know they "say" it's all numerical. Yet I know of an individual who was admitted with a 3.2 GPA and 84 HESI. If you go back like a crazy person and look through the forums (like myself) lol, you'll see that it's not always the 4.0 across the board GPA'ers that score a seat. Sometimes it's a working person with a decent GPA. They seem to have a variety and no rhyme or reason or calculable algorithm for which they choose candidates.
Credibility: I've been to an information session myself, and I've lurked the past boards for embarrassingly long amounts of time.
Ha I'm also lurker on those forums!
The fact that they have admitted people with not so perfect gpas gives me hope because mine aren't perfect (sGPA:3.75, preGPA:3.557)
When lurking on all those forums I found that everyone also had different application statuses. Some said "under review" some didn't say anything. Mine doesn't say anything right now.
It also seems like they send out acceptances differently. Some people get an email, for others it updates on there application portal. It's so weird that they have such inconsistencies in the way they do things.

When you click on "active application" and then on there under "status" it doesn't say anything?
Mine also says under review, but i'm freaking out because I haven't received a transcript eval. I know someone who got theirs earlier this week (we submitted our application and documents at the exact same time).
Well if it helps you feel less worried, the transcript eval has nothing to do with being admitted or not. So if you never receive one, you can still be admitted.
Also, where exactly on the application portal does it say that your application is under review? On mine I click on "active application" then it takes me to a different page that says "application status" but it doesn't say anything else. Just application status.

Really??? I hope that's true then...it makes me feel a bit better, thanks!
When I click on "active application" it takes me to a different page that lists "Application Date", "Application Number", "Academic Plan", and "Status". There's something next to all of them and next to "status" it says "Application under review".

Hi! So I also applied for the 2018 Fall semester, but I just need one more elective to have all of my credits. Does anyone know what electives from Lonestar are transferable and can be used for that credit? Thank you!
