I haven't seen a topic for the UT Health Fall 2018 program, so here it is!
I am applying for the fall with following stats:
Prereq GPA 3.65
Science GPA 4.00
HESI (just took it last Friday):
Reading 90
Vocab 92
Grammar 84
Math 96
AP 100
I am making a career shift with a BS in Chemistry that I got from UH Downtown.
Good luck everyone!
Hi! Congrats on being accepted for summer! Still waiting to hear for fall. I did have one question, do you know if you can transfer patho to UT if you took it elsewhere? I was accepted to TWU for this fall but would much rather attend UT. I signed up for a summer patho class with TWU but do you know if I take it this summer, will UT accept it or do you have to take patho with them?

You will be there about 4 days out of the week but we do get released early on Monday's tuesdays and fridays! I know most of my cohort has children so you're not alone!
The student environment is amazing! In just a few weeks since we were coming up here for many different things (ie orientations) I have made so many friends. Everybody wants to help each other, even the older S2s which will graduate in August. I haven't had anybody say anything rude or mean to me or anybody I know. We all help each other! The instructors are amazing too. Everybody in the lecture is in the same lecture room so you have plenty of time to make friends.
So my HESI score wasn't strong at all, an 86 actually. But I had a high score in math, reading and anatomy. My grammar score is what brought me down. My prerequisite gpa was a 3.66 (I had all As in everything except A&P 1 I had a C) I didn't get accepted for spring or waitlisted and reapplied for summer and got in. I also retook A&P1 during that time which is going to help a lot! My science gpa was a 3.5. After retaking it, my gpa was brought up to a 3.89 with a 4.0 science. Not sure if retaking A&P was a factor because when I applied I hadn't finished it but told them I was.
I was officially notified by email but before my apply UTH account said "admittance pending" with accept or decline options or something like that!
