UT Health Pacesetter BSN Fall 2018

I haven't seen a topic for the UT Health Fall 2018 program, so here it is!

I am applying for the fall with following stats:

Prereq GPA 3.65

Science GPA 4.00

HESI (just took it last Friday):

Reading 90

Vocab 92

Grammar 84

Math 96

AP 100

I am making a career shift with a BS in Chemistry that I got from UH Downtown.

Everything you said I can relate to, I am wondering if the VBSN is even a real thing.

I talked to a vet who was in the current program. She said that she had never met with anyone about the VBSN program nor did she know of 9 other vets in the program at all. So, no, I believe it is a ploy to get Vets and their guaranteed money to apply.

A VBSN? I've never heard of that at any nursing school. Their website also doesn't mention any of this. I think you might have received bad information from someone.

Does anyone know if they send out acceptance/denial letters in waves or just all at once?

From what I understand and have heard the emails can come in waves.

Looks like summer starts on May 21st...so it might be after Memorial day before we hear anything. Although before would be AWESOME!

Has anyone else sent updated transcripts from your school after your grade posted and noticed it not update on UTH portal?

I have not sent the updated transcript - thinking about just waiting for their decision based on the grades that they have now.

I thought about sending an updated one too (I took both A&P I and II last semester so I would really like them to see those grades), but I don't think they will consider anything submitted after the deadline.
