UT Health Pacesetter BSN Fall 2018

Published

I haven't seen a topic for the UT Health Fall 2018 program, so here it is!

I am applying for the fall with following stats:

Prereq GPA 3.65

Science GPA 4.00

HESI (just took it last Friday):

Reading 90

Vocab 92

Grammar 84

Math 96

AP 100

I am making a career shift with a BS in Chemistry that I got from UH Downtown.

Good luck everyone!

Alright guys, this is it! We might find out this week! I really hope we do. Good luck everyone! :)

I hope so! It would be nice to know before the Memorial Weekend.

Yes!! Last year people heard back May 23rd, I hope we do too!

I know! I think it was a Tuesday? Hopefully we hear back tomorrow lol or today

I'm betting money on tomorrow! Good luck guys!

I'm hoping for tomorrow! This forum seems a lot smaller than the previous fall semester so I hope we all get in! (Even though I know there are many people not on this thread) Goodluck!

I agree! Lots of other forums got to page 40-50+ at the times they started receiving acceptances. I mean I'm sure there are a lot of people lurking too. But our forum is very small. We're only on page what? 26? Here's hoping we all get in!

So I talked to one lady during the information session recently, she said that they received 1600 applications for fall semester, so maybe there are a lot of people out there waiting for the acceptance. Moreover, when I asked about the transcript evaluation letter, she said that they were going to send out everyone's transcript evaluation by mail. If I want to hear back from them about the application process, I need to wait for them until June 15th - the time when they send out letters.

Honestly, I'm not sure that they are really want to inform us or discourage us.

1600 application? wow that's a lot. Well I'm still hoping for the best and that we don't have to wait until June 15 because I can't take waiting any longer.

1600 applicants...that's insane. So our chances are like 1:20? Not sure how many students they have in one class.

I've submitted my final transcript to UT Health last Friday and it was processed yesterday; I no longer have any items on my To-Do list.

That means they have like a 7% acceptance rate. Wows

Yep, 7.5% to be exact - slightly better than 7.0% lol

But, I am sure out of 1600 applicants there will be some incomplete profiles, missing prereqs, low GPA, etc.
