I haven't seen a topic for the UT Health Fall 2018 program, so here it is!
I am applying for the fall with following stats:
Prereq GPA 3.65
Science GPA 4.00
HESI (just took it last Friday):
Reading 90
Vocab 92
Grammar 84
Math 96
AP 100
I am making a career shift with a BS in Chemistry that I got from UH Downtown.
Good luck everyone!
No don't say that, it seems like UT Health has no actual pattern on how people are accepted so it seems like everyone has a chance.
I just keep telling myself that there has to be some logic to the way they choose people. And by GPA and HESI makes since. Think about it, lots of people never get their transcript evaluations so they don't actually know how UT calculates their GPAs or if a class or two wasn't transferred correctly. Those are probably the people who thought they had great stats but got rejected.
Idk. I'm just really negative about the whole thing. I think I'm like that because I don't want to be disappointed when I don't get accepted.
I'm such a forum downer lol

That's true!! For me there was a mistake in my transcripts eval so luckily I got it but what about the people who don't.. I'm not sure, I used to be really negative about this whole thing but at this point I am just trying to be positive and hope for the best. Don't be negative!! Do you have a backup?
I've applied 3 times now. I have never received an eval. I have retaken my HESI, and some classes, and now I will have near perfect stats no matter how they grade it, seriously. Plus, I am a veteran that served as a combat medic, so there really is no rhyme or reason. I am just staying positive.

I do. I got into Lonestar's ADN program.
I'm going to try to stay positive! Lol hopefully we will know soon!

Everything you said I can relate to, I am wondering if the VBSN is even a real thing.
This is my sixth time applying. I have pretty high grades and hesi scores but I've never received an evaluation. I don't understand how they are choosing their students. It really sucks. I hope it works out this time. Fingers crossed
What are your stats if you don't mind me asking?
