Just curious to see how the new fnp program online is going at UTA. I applied for August start date and hopefully will hear something by end of the week. How are the classes ( esp advanced patho). I'm nervous and wanting to get a jump start.... Any advice/suggestions?

Hi all! I am eagerly waiting for all of you to get your letters because I applied for the September 22 start date back in March! I am ready to finally know or not. Good lucky to all of you!

Well looks like you'll be waiting a while!! The asst emailed me and said yes we will know either way, by tomm... Which was yesterday... I've called the admissions office with no help, and the dept, whose voicemail said candidates will know by the end of the week....good or bad, I'd like to know before school starts!

Well I called timara and I got deferred. She said there were over 300 applicants and they took about 150. So I can choose to be considered for sept or nov start dates. They initially said they were going to accept everyone but now they're having to wait on that due to the overwhelming volume. I don't know if I want to go thru this again. My mav and email still not updated!

Ugh! That's what happened with me for the on site program. Except I have to wait until next September 2015 and it's still not guaranteed. At least they have many start dates for the online program. I'm almost done with my app for another school for January admit. Good luck y'all!!!

I'm sorry Steff. Don't give up. I was deferred for the June 30th program but was accepted this time.

Thank you girls... That makes me feel better... Ok I will give it another try for September!

You get your course map (eAdvisor plan) from your academic adviser after you're accepted.

I can't think of anything I could have done before being accepted. Waiting is hard, I know. Well, working extra to pay for school is something I could have done lol

@Ilovebees, what is the next course that you have to take? I think we may be on the same plan.

Next is the second research class, 5328. To be honest, I'm dreading it.

Now that is it is September, the wait is on to here about getting in or not for the 22nd start date. I am trying not to psych myself out as the previous start dates went down to the wire in notifying people. Anyone out there waiting to hear? Steffijack, did you put your hat in for this date?

Hi iLOVEbees!

I just started the MSN Education program and I also start with the same theory class. I can't help but feel apprehensive. On Week 1 and I 'm hitting the beginning of that concept paper. I'm not even sure if I'm about to choose the right concept, etc etc. Do you remember being super nit-picky about it?

I was thinking of doing pain in sickle cell children but unsure of the screening tool and I'm not throwing myself into a dark abyss before pulling myself out.

I work full time night shift and plan to do this program. I'm glad its 1 class a semester but I already feel overworked. I need your words of comfort and guidance if anything. I appreciate it! THANK YOU!!! :)
