Ut Arlington fnp online program

Just curious to see how the new fnp program online is going at UTA. I applied for August start date and hopefully will hear something by end of the week. How are the classes ( esp advanced patho). I'm nervous and wanting to get a jump start.... Any advice/suggestions?

I've been checking online my mav and email, but nothing! I'm thinking that there's more spots this cohort but school starts in less than 2 weeks! My contact person is not responding to me, and I would like to know one way or another. Do they let you know immediately if you aren't accepted?

MyMav was not updated for days after I got notification. Actually, myMav said they still wanted a transcript 2 months after they received it. Try sending Mary Schira an email and Rose Olivier. Tamara seemed to respond as well. It did take a few days. I noticed they seemed to respond around 5pm. So, send your email later in the day, perhaps?

I called the office of admissions and they said they'd let us know either way, and this has been the norm lately with the nursing dept because there are so many applicants. Timara is the one that has not been responding to me... They must be super busy, she has responded in the past...I appreciate the info buggy and I hope all goes well for you

I too applied for the fnp online program at UTA for the August start date. I called last Monday and they said they should be sending something out by the end of the week. Since it is now Tuesday I don't know when I will find out. Hopefully soon so that we can register and start purchasing books. Does anyone know how many spots are available?

Timara told me they were hoping to accept everyone who met the qualifications with no cap... This was in April... So I'm hoping they're just behind!

Congrats Kim! Timara responded saying they're sending out the letters today or tomm... Still haven't gotten anything from them, keeping my fingers crossed :nailbiting:

Do they notify you around the same time if you weren't accepted? I'm about to crazy waiting on this :mad:

Don't worry you will get your acceptance letter tommorrow. They probably just have so many to send out. The reason I probably got mine today is because they are going in alphabetical order and my last name begins with a C.

Kim you are too sweet :D I hope so! Then we can be study buddies! My last name starts with an H, so here's to hoping! I appreciate the encouragement. And if all else fails, I do have a plan B!
