Starting a thread for those applying to UT’s AE-MSN program. ☺️

I think there are multiple professors conducting interviews and they are given a number of people to interview and are supposed to complete them by a certain deadline. I wish I knew how many people applied, but I do know they received an influx of applications as all nursing schools have.

I’ve been reading the thread afraid to talk about it publicly for fear of “jinxing” myself LOL. But I applied to the LeaDS program and interviewed last Wednesday. I also scheduled my fingerprinting via the email that was sent yesterday. Last years applicants found out if they got into LeaDS beginning around Jan 24th. I am extremely nervous but still super grateful I made it this far. This is the first time I’ve applied to any type of grad school ever. I originally applied to go in for PMHNP and was offered leads. I am planning on getting the certification once completing my MSN. And discussed in my interview how I’ll be using both. Thanks again for everyone who’s been active on this thread. (We - the active yet silent watchers- are very appreciative)  ?

I have my interview tomorrow morning and was wondering if anyone had any last minute tips? I'm so nervous!

I’m getting my finger printing done tomorrow. it seems like Tracy wants us to get it done quickly!

@katiekatie @leadshopeful thank y'all so much! I think my interview went pretty well. The professor I interviewed with was very laid back and calming, so that definitely helped out a lot!

anyone still got interviews to be done? - it sounded like that they will be finished interviewing first 2 weeks of Jan?
