UT AE-MSN 2018

Hello, all!

This might be super early but I wanted to go ahead and start a 2018 thread. :cat:

I'm currently finishing up my last semester for my Bachelors degree in Spanish & Psychology at UT Arlington, I take the GRE on December 22nd. Any other future applicants out there? Or anyone have any advice as far as the application process? Not sure if I'd rather apply for LeaDs or PMHNP yet.

Hey all, so glad to find this thread!

I too applied for the PMHNP track but have not heard anything besides the initial email from Tracy. And my online application still just says "under review".

Just to clarify because I have been through the process. I am currently in a master's program at UT. You're status will most likely say "in review" until like Jan/Feb after decisions are made. Don't rely on that to really reveal your applications status.

I haven't heard anything since Tracy's email on Oct 9th. Hopefully we'll hear about interviews soon, or at least get an update on the timeline. In the meantime my daily routine is check email, check My Status, check this forum and repeat - sigh

Hey y'all I wanted to give an update to hopefully ease some nerves. I spoke to one of my references who is very active w/ the program and does guest lectures from time to time and she let me know that they are horrible when it comes to communication. She said they always run about a week or two behind so to not worry if we have not heard back about an interview. Just FYI.

Oh you just have to love the wait. I already had my interview for Ohio State and should know something by the end of December. Just waiting to hear from Texas still.

Has anyone heard anything about interviews yet? Especially the people that were ask to move their apps to LeaDs.

I was talking to one of the A-CNS in my practice who graduated this past summer and he said they took forever and a day. From what he remembers he wasn't contacted about an interview until the first week of December.
