So I've been using the online version of Hurst since April. I have gotten scores of 68, 66 and 66 out of 125 on the simulators (median is 77/125). This is my second time taking it, been out of school for 2 years . Even purchased Elevate. The lady from nursing support wanted me to work on reviewing the Elevate quizzes and the customizer, along with the Q cards, before taking the last simulator. Should I pay for my ATT yet and if so, should I pick a date? My anxiety's been up for the last several weeks, so it's been hard to make a decision on when to take it and how much to work each week to pay the bills.

I posted this on someone else’s post but I hope this helps you too. I took the NCLEX RN yesterday 8/7/19. Got 75questions. Critical thinking is key. I had like 18-21 SATA and a lot of prioritization questions. I did the pvt trick and got the good pop up so hopefully I passed. I used hurst review which I found to be really helpful. I watched ALL of their online videos. Then I took SO many practice questions on their website. They are worded exactly like the NCLEX. The quizzes are under “customizor” and you can go over all the categories. Then after u feel comfortable with that there’s 4 big tests that are 125 each under “simulator” and those really prepare you for the NCLEX. They recommend making 77/125 on each one. Don’t feel discouraged if you get a low score, read the rationales. I made 75/125, 82/125, 79/125 and 87/125. I also watched a lot of RegisterednurseRN videos on YouTube. Good luck

Did you review the content at all or the resource documents?
I did both. I watched all the videos, etc. I pretty much exhausted everything on there. Also make sure to really pay attention to the last video ‘Management of care’. Also, go back to the simulator tests that you took and read the rationales. And since you’ve already taken those, go back to the customizer and practice each category with minimum 50 questions.Try to really understand the content and every time you answer a question, ask yourself how will that eliminate/improve the patient’s symptoms. I hope that helps ? you got this!! Good luck.

I took the last simulator last week, got a 72/125. I still need to review it. Did you go through all the customizer questions? Also, did you feel that Hurst simulators were comparable to the NCLEX?
