After researching the publishing companies I've decided not to use any of them. I think I need to go straight through Excelsior. The way I look at is how can I go wrong getting it straight from the horses mouth and bypassing the rest. Any feedback on anyone else out there who decided to do the same.

Most EC students here do it without signing up with a publishing company. Feel free to browse the Distance Ed forum here- you'll find many posts regarding these companies. Good luck to you!

I'm done with my classes and waiting on my CPNE date. I had to take almost everything thru EC except for like 8 credits that transferred from some prev. college courses. I just used EC's free study guides the whole way thru and bought the recommended text books on it from Amazon for way less than even buying them thru EC. I did use a college network book, once, borrowed from a friend for A&P. I couldn't imagine signing on with one of those study companies and paying all that extra money to get your RN.
