USFCA spring 2019

Has anyone applied to USFCA nursing program for spring 2019?

yeah, mine too, awaiting decision...i think you guys got me more nervous...lol I wasn't even thinking about all these until I read your posts, now im anticipating more than I did before.

I applied and got accepted into CCSF nursing, but I am going with USF if I get accepted, I am really hoping that I do, because I don't want to just get RN instead of BSN if I am spenting the same amout of time in school.

Now the problem is, they are going to send out letters from the 10th, and CCSF orientation is on the 12th. I highly doubt I will hear back by then.

I read the previous year's post, people starting to get letters around the 18th Dec, but that post have alot more people. right now it's just the three of us. lol

Hey joenursetobe,

I can see my letter of recommendation on my applicant portal. Mine says letter of recommendation with a green check mark after it and says received. But, I did apply for the Sacramento campus and the letter of rec was required for that campus... so, maybe that's why. Also, did the admissions counselor give you a call last week letting you know your application is complete? If so, then I am positive not being able to see your letter of recommendation is absolutely no issue! Best of luck to you with the application I am keeping my fingers crossed for all you who have applied to the SF campus and I hope you all receive some good news in the next couple of weeks!

Hey zoey,

Yah that's nerve wracking if I was you and didn't get a letter by the 10 I would for sure go to the orientation just in case! Congrats on getting accepted to CCSF though!

Hmm...perhaps it does depend on the campus? My response verbatim is, "Yes, the recommendation was received. It is not required to review your application which is why it does not show on your Status Page."

No, I did not receive a call from an admissions counselor. For what seems like an eternity, my portal only shows my transcripts being received/says my application is complete and under review. I wonder why I did not receive a call.

Good luck to you and everyone else who applied!

Okay awesome! I heard someone's portal updated to

"Decision sent in mail" so it made me nervous!

& welcome Joe!

Good Luck to everyone only two more weeks :/ lol

Oh really? If you don't mind me asking, Where did you hear that from? Was it someone you know personally or on a thread here? Mine still says awaiting decision so that definitely makes me nervous too!

Oh a thread ! There's another one! If you go to my activity & my comments on here you can see it!

Joenursetobe

Yeah possibly, I know when I first got access to my portal my letter of recommendation didn't show and then a couple days later it did so now it says on my portal that it is there along with my transcripts.

Did you maybe check your voicemails? I received a missed call from a (415) area code number and a voicemail was left from Milford Miles admissions counselor letting me know my application was complete and that I would be definitely receiving a decision by mid December. But, that was all that was said nothing indicating I was admitted or denied. You could always try reaching out to you admissions counselor the person it says on your portal.

It only allows me to see this thread on your activity....oh gosh that is nerve wracking!

What was the name of the thread?

Oh!

"University of San Francisco Spring 2019 Applicants"

Let me know if it shows up

Oh yes I found it! This makes me even more nervous that I didn't get in since mine still says awaiting decision..... the admissions counselor said letters would be sent out after mid december when he left the voicemail. Also, admissions emailed me back saying it will come early december 20s so sometime before then... They said they haven't sent out any decisions yet.

I'm a little confused why it said that so early, but Yeah I think we're okay!

I read past forum posts & applicants said when they got accepted it said, "congratulations" on the portal.
