USF (South Florida) FNP Fall 2021

Updated:   Published

Hi everyone,

I didn't see a thread for this yet so I wanted to start a place for those who have applied the the University of South Florida FNP program starting fall 2021. Previous applicants/accepted students please feel free to comment on the process for you!

thanks!

Hey there! I was accepted into the BSN-DNP program (AGACNP focus). Is anyone else heading to Florida? I am not from the area so any advice on where to live would be great!

Congratulations! As far as places to live around USF there are lots of off campus apts around there. Check out Fletcher ave., University drive, Temple terrace,  Bruce b downs all within .02 to 3 miles away from campus.

Hi, are you looking for a job? Otherwise no need to be in Tampa since we have only 3 visits on campus during fall of 2021: September, October and November. As far as I know, same story for Spring 2022. But I will check that on Monday. Btw I am out of the state, too (PNP focus).

Hi! Do you happen to know when exactly in September, October, and November?

Thanks!

Do you mean the three dates listed for advanced health assessment of 9/28, 10/28, and 11/9? I was kind of confused by that because my class registration says class is on Tuesdays from 3-5 pm. That would be great if it were only 3 days total

I was planning on moving from where I live anyway, so the timing all works out. The weather will be an added bonus to escape the winters ?

Are there available classes online? Or are they only in person options?

As far as I know, after my registration, those three visits are the only one. About NGR 6002C Tuesday meeting from 3-5 pm, I have scheduled meeting with my advisor tomorrow.

In conclusion, all classes are delivered remotely. Only those three visits in person are mandatory. Advice I got today was to be close to campus, because situation is changing often.

I found out today that I didn’t get accepted after having an interview. I plan on submitting my application again in a few years. It is nice just knowing one way or the other. Good luck to you all and hope to work with y’all in the future!

I too found out I was not accepted. Best of luck to those selected and praying for your success during the program

If you don’t mind me asking was this for full time or part time and which path?
