USF nursing School Fall 2017 Potential Students

Hi! I've seen other threads like this one. Pretty much it is just a support thread of anyone who is applying to the University of South Florida's Fall 2017 nursing class. There are threads for about every other year except 2017, so I am starting it. If there is anyone else who just wants to talk to someone going through the process like me, feel free to reply to this discussion.

Good luck to anyone applying to nursing school this semester. I understand first hand how nerve racking it can be!

What are yalls plan b? I applied to hcc as my plan b and found out today that I got in. Hopefully usf admission results come out quickly after our interviews. Hcc's deadline for accepting admission is next Thursday. Never been so stressed ugh

@mknursing I also applied to HCC as a backup and I'm glad I did! I'll be attending the Dale Mabry campus afternoon cohort. How about you?

Plant City campus for me. I feel like they aren't giving us enough time to make a decision. They are giving us less that a week to figure this out. I'm still going to turn in all the documents from the email to them

True, a weeks notice is ridiculously short. I'm going to get everything printed and dropped off in person this weekend though since I don't have another option. I'm on the waiting list for UCF though! Maybe something will change.

Did UCF have an interview? What day did you choose for an interview for usf?

Does anyone know around how many people got interviews vs how many spots are available?

@mknursing no interview for UCF. But I did have to take the TEAS and I got an 88 on that. As for USF I unfortunately did not secure an interview. But that's okay~

I got offered an interview for USF but I won't be taking it, I decided to take FIU offer instead to be closer to home and because they gave their decisions in May. I am USF native though so it will be a change for me. I wish you all luck though! Soon enough we'll all be RN-BSN!!

I just signed up for my interview for the 19th! First day... I have a 4.0 but I can't believe that others with 3.9s are getting denied...

Does anyone know how long after the interviews we hear back?
