USF nursing School Fall 2017 Potential Students

Hi! I've seen other threads like this one. Pretty much it is just a support thread of anyone who is applying to the University of South Florida's Fall 2017 nursing class. There are threads for about every other year except 2017, so I am starting it. If there is anyone else who just wants to talk to someone going through the process like me, feel free to reply to this discussion.

Good luck to anyone applying to nursing school this semester. I understand first hand how nerve racking it can be!

I'm an spc transfer, but completed most of my nursing prerequisites at usf. I've been a usf student since 2015. I go to school part time and work full time.

I got denied as well with a 3.72 gpa. Its hard to swallow but I am not in complete shock. Everyone that did not get it, especially 3.9+ gpa just know that U very likely could not have done anything better. There is just not enough spots ! Good luck

I just signed up for my interview for the 19th! First day... I have a 4.0 but I can't believe that others with 3.9s are getting denied...

Does anyone know how long after the interviews we hear back?

Hi everyone, I also received an interview email. I am so sorry for all who were denied during this part of the process- I myself have already been rejected from the school I originally attended even after making it through the interview process with a 3.93, so I understand how difficult it can be. Yesterday I received an email that said I was denied, but today I received an email that it was just a mistake and I got an interview! I was so relieved! My GPA is a 3.91. Congrats to everyone else that got an interview. I booked my interview on Tuesday, June 20th. I am so nervous! Sorry to anyone that didn't make it.
