It’s so scary! I applied to FGCU and UCF, but I think I might just go to HCC and do their concurrent program with USF if I’m not accepted. I don’t want to move away because I work for Baycare and my fam lives here!

Good luck with your other applications!! HCC is also a really great program. I hope we all just get accepted to USF lol. Does anyone know if USF takes priority for their own students over transfers? And are they taking 80 students in the upper division program again? Hopefully, it's more this year.

Thank you! And yes I hope so badly. And I have no idea if they do or not, probably not. I think they’re accepting around 100 or so, but I’m not sure.

I think when I attended an information session by the pre-admissions advisor she stated that because there is a 10:1 ratio in clinical placements and that they have partnerships with 8 bay area hospitals, so they accept 80. I wasn't sure if they had partnered with more clinical placements. I wish it was more so that it would be better odds for all of us. It seems like a lot of qualified applicants don't get seats, but I understand that everyone needs a clinical placement. The application is only open for two more weeks!! We should be hearing something soon.? Although, I'm not sure what criteria they use to select applicants for the interview? Is it based purely off of GPA?

Interview notifications will be 1-2 weeks after the application closes on March 1st. I'm guessing they will notify us around March 11th and hold interviews 18th-20th.

10 more days of the application being open! I’m so surprised there isn’t more people on this thread, I expected a bunch of us. But the nerves are kicking in! I hope to God we all get in, maybe there isn’t a ton of people applying to Fall 2019?

The application is closed! The waiting begins now lol. I'm thinking they'll notify Monday, March 11th but it could be sooner/later. I also expected a lot more people! There may be some lurking and not posting
