USF Nursing Fall 2019 (Upper Division) Applicants

Hi.

I am also applying for usf as a transfer. my Req/Overall Gpa is 4.0 as well. While I am waiting for a decision, I am taking more chemistry and biology classes. I know it is early to hear something back from them. Fingers crossed.

I am transferring from FSCJ.

USF is definitely my top choice, but if I don't get accepted I'm going to apply to SPC's ASN program and have to bridge over to get my BSN. Not really what I want to do since I already have my AA but USF is so competitive it's scary! Last year 485 people applied but only 399 were eligible. About 140 people were interviewed and 82 were admitted. Here are the stats: https://confluence.usf.edu/display/CON/Undergraduate+Nursing+Admission+Statistics. Are you applying to any other schools?

I do have other options but still nursing is competitive at any place. I have also applied to fsu and uf.

Hey guys I’m still waiting my my acceptance to undergrad to apply for nursing. My overall GPA is a 3.89 and prerequisite GPA is a 4.0. It says I got accepted on my application status for undergrad but I still haven’t received an email yet saying that. Good luck to you all!

I agree nursing is competitive at any school!! Good luck with your other applications as well!! Which school is your top choice?

Thank you so much! I just got accepted yesterday so I’m assuming it will be a few days from now.
