USF ME-MSN Summer 2020

Didn’t see a post about the USF ME-MSN program for Summer 2020 and thought I’d start one! Feel free to reply about your thoughts, updates on the application/decisions, etc!!

Yes, this is for the entry level Masters program at U. of San Francisco. They are holding interviews for 12 candidates total over 2 days on the 19th and 20th for special Spanish language clinical placements. In general there are no interviews though.

Yes, exactly, and thank you. It's unclear which comes first. Are they accepting me THEN doing to the interview to see if I am a good fit for the primary care focus OR are they only going to offer me admissions if I do well in the interview. I have not been able to get a clear answer on this question.

Hi, Today I was wait listed for another school, which made me that much more curious about whether or not I'll get into USF. Thanks for starting this thread and good luck everyone!

Based on the old forums, it looks like they will either call/email you for an acceptance, but email you for a waitlist or a denial. I hope we hear back in the next few business days!

Same. I wonder if they will wait until next week since they’re conducting the primary care focus interviews today. I think technically next Wednesday is the end of the 10th week, so hopefully we’ll hear by then!

At the end of my interview I was told I would hear back in a couple weeks, and that coronavirus issues could be slowing things down. On the other hand someone said they called admin office and they reported everything was on schedule. Given that there are interviews being held today I would not expect anything until sometime next week at the soonest.

Bigger question: Are they actually going to start classes in May? Or cancel Summer session all together and begin in the Fall?
