Didn’t see a post about the USF ME-MSN program for Summer 2020 and thought I’d start one! Feel free to reply about your thoughts, updates on the application/decisions, etc!!
I got my acceptance email yesterday. What does everybody plan to do at the end of their degree? I’ve heard most graduates work as entry level nurses. Is it harder for someone without a BSN to get hired or will I be OK with an MSN?
My professional goal is to become an APRN. My understanding is that I can complete a post masters certificate to get there.

Does anyone know how many students they accept per cohort?
Yes CONGRATS to all!! Super exciting to be on your way to nursing ?
I think usf has 32-36 spots per cycle, but I could be wrong.

To those with experience or have heard from past experience, do you think it’s possible to attend this program without a car and just means of public transportation?
Yes CONGRATS to everyone! This is a very exciting time for you all! In regards to your question, San Francisco/Bay Area has a really good public transportation system so you should definitely be okay without a car. With that said, I think it would also depend on your clinical placements!
Anyone know how many people get off the waitlist?? Its nerve wracking knowing people are already getting offered spots before the April 15th deadline! I’m thinking of applying to the OC campus for Fall 2020, we are allowed to do that right?

Apart from what I’ve seen on this thread, I know another who got off the waitlist earlier this week!
hey guys! so I decided to also apply to the fall 2020 me-MSN program in OC but got an email saying I cant be on the waitlist for the Summer program and have an active application for the fall program. Any advice on what I should do? I obviously would love to get in but am not sure what the odds are me getting off the waitlist?:)

Thank you all to the ones that got in for the encouraging words! Trying not to lose hope because this is my second time being waitlisted but I can't help but feel bumped about it because I feel like theres a lot of people on the waitlisted and we don't even get to know our position.
Do you guys know when to accept the decision by? Because I know the next application is due April 15 for OC location.
