Hello! Anyone out there applied to usf FNP or any ARNP program at usf for fall 18?? What are your stats? GPA, experience, do you have a BSN? When did you apply. Let's all keep in contact! I'm planning on applying within the next week or so.
Hi all,
I am waiting on a couple more transcripts before I apply. I am applying for the AGACNP track. My ADN gpa was a 3.0 and my BSN a 4.0. My Science gpa is 3.5 I have 3 1/2 years experience as a nurse with 1 1/2 years in MICU and 1 year in CVICU. I also do research for clinical trials. I read on another forum that for the AGACNP track they only accepted 16 and 32 applied. That alone makes me really nervous! Good luck to everyone!
I graduated from USF with my BSN in December from the accelerated second-degree program. My BSN GPA was 3.67, my overall GPA is 3.5. I took NCLEX on 2/15, passed with 75Q. Background is 12 years in practice as a Chiropratic Physician. I completed my NursingCAS app in January and have an interview for the FNP program on 03/12/18.
Hey everyone! I got my admission to the BSN to DNP Program FNP Track at USF (University of South Florida), there are some others that got in as well. Good luck to everyone that applied!

Oh wow. May I ask why you are changing careers now?

My interview was with one of the DNP professors. She was super nice and the interview was very casual in her office. Just know why you want to attend USF, why FNP/role of FNP, and there were a few scenario questions so just brush up on those. But, overall just be yourself!!
