USF College of Nursing?

Published

Just wondering if anyone is in the nursing program at USF-Tampa. If so, what has your experience been so far? Also, What kind of hospital/medical work did you do before you applied? I was considering volunteering at University Community Hospital, despite the kind of shady things I keep hearing about it. I'm graduating in May with a different BA, so I'm trying to figure out what steps I should take to get myself into the accelerated 2nd bachelor's program quickly.

Thanks in advance!

I thought if you graduated from a FL junior community college with a major that leads to a degree in at BA or BS you will be excepted into the program in any FL four year state college/university? what ever happen to that rule?

Does it mean you are except in the University without a major?

I graduated from a out of state Junior College and continued my education private and state colleges in Florida

What program are you looking at going into? I am in the Masters ( family NP) and have not been happy with my experience so far. Very disorganized, very frequent changes, ect ect. I have however not heard anything bad about the BSN program, although I did not go there for a BSN. I would suggest going to the USF student nurse forum and and try to find someone that is currently in the BSN program and get the scoop on it... good luck!
