USF CA MSN-CNL Non-nurse Summer 2011

Hi There,

I've been searching around and I haven't seen a thread yet for USF's CNL program for non-nurse Summer 2011, so I thought I'd start one.

Anyone out there applied yet or still applying? I just submitted my online application last night and am preparing the supplemental packet to send out tomorrow.

Anything you'd like to share, by all means, please do!

I also applied to csula, csuf, ucla, long beach, sfsu, ohsu and a community college. What about you?

So far, I've applied to SMU and USF. If I don't get in either, I'll be applying to 2 CCs in May, and east/north bay CSUs after Fall 2011 when I complete their Organic Chem requirement.

I applied to USF and SMU as well. I heard that Summer is more competitive at USF than Spring, is this because the people who didn't get into Spring session reapply for Summer, making more applicants overall?

Are any of you re-applicants, if so, what did you do to improve your app. and what kind of conversation did you have with MM?

If I don't get into USF or SMU I think I might just try to have a baby :D

or spend some time learning Spanish before reapplying!

I originally applied for spring and was waitlisted. I applied for summer so fingers crossed ill get in this time around... to improve my app I submitted a third recommendation letter. Also, I had a prereq in progress that I have since finished. I decided not to change my essay but that was another suggestion...

I called yesterday and they said we should hear back either the last week of march or first week of April.

I'm considering applying to this program but haven't attended an info session since I live in LA. I'm considering flying up for the one in April. Would love to hear others impression of the program. Ideally, I would like to stay in Southern Cal.

At this point three weeks seems like FOREVER but at least we're getting closer... Sam198 I know that I saw you on another thread...was it for USD or UCLA?
